Practical- Sophie Practicing My Design

• This is my final design that my partner Sophie will be creating on me. 
• This was our first trial of practicing our hair designs. 
• Sophie firstly crimped all my hair.
• She then backcombed the front sections, as they would be going up in the puff.
• After this we used a hair rat that was provided from the studio. 
• We both were not pleased with the shape of the hair rat as it would affect the final shape of the hair which is visible from the picture on the right hand side.
• For next time I would get a hair rat that is more mandible. 
• Also if she puts the hair rat a little more on top of the crown of the head it might give more volume as in this trial it was further back on the head as Helen said.

 

• As I did not have the ribbon on me as well, Sophie tied my hair using a hair bubble to the side.
• Looking at the front of the hair I would prefer to have a smoother rounder shape and also more volume. This could be as a result that we didn't have the correct hair rat and it was Sophie's first trial. 
• I like how Sophie has used the hair to cover up the grip pins. However I would like it to be a little more neater for next time. 
• I really like the way the hair looks from the side. I love the volume on the side and would prefer to have the same sort of volume at the front of the head. I am also very pleased with the shape from the side and again would prefer to have the same shape all over the head. 
• As this was Sophie's first trial she did a great job, although I think she needs more practice to make sure the puff is in the same shape all round the head and I need to make a hair rat for the hairstyle.
