Practical- Practicing Sophie's Design

- This was my 2nd trial at creating Sophie's design.
- This time she had a hair doughnut which we will be using for the pony tail to sit on.
- I sectioned a circular part of hair on the crown of the head and took a little hair through the doughnuts and pinned them in place
- We used two doughnuts on top of each other which were of the smallest size.
- I them tied all the hair up in a pony tail leaving a section of hair out by the ears.
- I braided the hair with the ribbon and the incorporated the hair next to the ears, took the braids across the forehead and pinned them in place.
- Even though I used the doughnut this time, the ponytail was not sitting on top of hair doughnut. This is something I need to work on for next time.
- I also need to work on making sure the loop at the back of the head is equal.
- Both sophie and I thought that the hair that goes round the ribbon across the head is too thin because all we see is thin strands of hair and more ribbon.
- I remembered having some loose gold colored hair extensions at home and I suggested that we could try using them to see what effect we get and whether it improves the look or not.
- The next time we practice we will be using the extensions.
- I feel that I did a little better than the first trial but I need to work on the things I mentioned above and make sure the finished result is neat.
