Contemporary and Historical Inspirations for my 3 Final Designs

The above are my inspirations for my 3 final designs. I chose Amy Winehouse as I loved the volume in the hair. Relating this back to the Elizabethan era , the wigs they had were big and they had lots of volume in their hair as a symbol of status that only the rich could afford them. The second Image is from the movie snow white and the huntsmen. I liked the hair in this picture as it as braids going across the forehead. This gives the illusion of a high forehead. The volume in the braid and the way it is shaped almost looks like a crown. The third picture is from the Chanel catwalk and the heart shape caught my eye. The heart shape relates back to the Elizabethan era. All these pictures have Elizabethan symbolism while they all still look very contemporary.
Along side the contemporary inspiration I have also put in historical images that have the similar sort of style and link back to the Elizabethan Era.
