Above are a few pictures of how braids were incorporated in Elizabethan hairstyles. All these pictures have one feature in common that is the center parting of the hair. This is a historical feature of that time Also the braids are used to create shape on the head and also round the head. In the last picture it shows how they used ribbon in between the braids as decoration.
