These are some images that I found that not only have crimped hair but also do link back to the Elizabethan Hair. The top picture is of one of the top most singer's Beyonce. She did this shoot for her Mrs Carter world tour. What got to me about this picture was the royal look and the hair played a part of this too. Her hair is crimped and is worn as an up do, which almost relates back to the rounded shaped wigs Elizabeth had. A crown has also been used as a decorative piece in the hair.
The images at the bottom are Corrie Nielsen's 2011/12 Autumn/Winter collection. The crimped heart shaped hair really symbolizes the Elizabethan Era. To modernize the look the hair has been kept slightly loose and messy yet slightly keeping the heart shape.
